Jenna's River Bed & Breakfast

The best part about this place are the views and the staff. The views are great, but it depends on what room you are in, as some have better views than others. Our room accommodations were just ok. My only requirement is cleanliness, and I was a bit disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the bedding. It was worn with some stains, and did not seem to be completely clean. The bedding smelled as if it had not fully dried after it was washed (the smell when you leave laundry in the machine too long before drying, or if dried outdoors and the air is humid). The included breakfast was satisfactory. The pool was closed during our stay. Overall, it was still a comfortable stay, although I slept on my travel pillow because I didn't trust the bedding. I also found a bug in the bed. You need to be able to climb a lot of steps to stay here. Huge kudos to Yvan, Antonio and the ladies in the kitchen for excellent service, and to Lino who was the absolute best Tuk Tuk driver to anywhere we needed to go. If the bedding was better, it would have been a perfect 5 stay.

Amazing views right from your own room. Nice pool. This place is best if you want to be away from the busyness of town. Good food from their own restaurant. If you want more food options you'd need to ride a tuck-tuck to town.

Pleasant stay.

Beautiful spacious rooms (Yurts) each is very individual and unique. Gorgeous views of the lake and volcanoes, off the beaten path but not far from town (5 min. by Tuktuk) Food at the restaurant was very good (traditional Guatemalan breakfast included) Great full bar with views and games and lounge area. Mari was so helpful and kind!

This hotel was amazing! My husband and I are typically budget travels but booked this as a treat for Valentines Day and loved the property. They have an amazing view, great happy hour and awesome staff.

Our room was a fabulous yurt that had gorgeous view of Lake Atitlan and the volcanoes there. The grounds had lovely plants and flowers. There was no outlet to the lake but a pool instead. This was not totally clear in the readings I did about the property. They had a wonderful bar and restaurant for breakfast, snacks and dinner. Santa Catarina is a short Tuk Tuk drive away or you can walk about 15 minutes like we did.

The view is breathtaking. Staff was so friendly and our Yurt was so comfortable. The sunset was amazing to watch with a cocktail and sipping coffee in the morning on your own private porch was amazing. Breakfast was so tasty and they serve dinner (not included in room) .

An amazing hillside property overlooking the lake. Our yurt was high up near the gate and we did a lot of climbing up and down to swim, use the sauna and eat and drink. With a few improvements and repairs this property will fully shine!

I wanted a quiet time. This hotel had it all, bar, restaurant and very friendly staff! They arrange our transportation and gave us tips for us to enjoy our time. 10/10 recommend. Staying here is a must. The views cannot be better!
