Bed was good, and room was clean

Singel room have no toilet, and there was no breakfast, although it is a Bed & Breakfast

Marcia was cheerful and helpful, and promptly provided extra bedding when we asked for it. The fresh milk was a bonus, not often available in B & Bs.

The property was very clean and comfortable. No breakfast available currently. Set in a beautiful village with easy parking.

Location was ideal for what I needed. Bed was comfy and shower good.

Finding accommodation at 9pm was difficult as images on website were not as it is currently, so was not clear where it was. Not great after a near 4 hour drive. Had to ask in local pub. Also a light switch outside single room would be good to get to toilet safely in night.

It's a lovely village close to a national trust property, but sadly for visitors and locals, traffic is busy.

The room is up two flights of stairs, well appointed but very small. The welcome was brief, end of season fatigue perhaps.... Breakfast was not included, and car parking on the public car park, but I knew that. In the morning I found out that the shower didn't work and yes, I followed written instructions ! it was very early and rather than wake everyone up I left as soon as possible. All in all, I would expect better service for the price I paid, £72 for the night!

Excellent location in the centre of Montacute. Very nice welcome from the owner Marcia. A very niceley kept property.
