I have a slight feather allergy (I never remember to flag this up in advance!) So had to buy new non-allergenic pillows.

The floor boards was a bit creaky but over all I would stay again and recommend it to others

Room was clean and tidy, free Wi-Fi owners were very nice and friendly.

Parking was a pain at times, toilets were communal

Really quaint and comfortable accommodation. I was worried about parking (as Montacute is notorious for no parking places) but anyone using these facilities should head for Back Lane where there should be ample parking

Nothing. It was a superb few days stay in a lovely Somerset village and the accommodation was outstanding. Although (there are stairs to negotiate)

Friendly host, clean comfortable room, only there a for few hours but a nice B&B

A lovely period property. Full of character and typical of a property of this age. Had to duck a few times to avoid the beams :D The Museum and Tea rooms were closed, victims of Covid. a real pity as many of the artefacts can still be seen in the garden and the shop window. Plenty of on-street parking in the village.
