Mollett's Farm

Super location close to Saxmundham and a convenient base to explore the area. Nicely equipped, peaceful and warm for our winter stay.

It was a lovely location and on a pretty, quiet farm. It was a very clean modernised property. It was warm and comfortable with lots of amenities considering the size of the room. Very comfy beds. The hosts were friendly and there if you needed them. Good paved access for wheelchairs from the disabled car parking space to the adapted room and well-lit at night, but quite a long walk (about 35m) if you have reduced mobility.

The only downside was very little storage for our belongings, especially clothes - just one set of drawers and some hooks behind the door for hangers. I would have preferred fewer kitchen amenities to fit in a wardrobe/cupboard. I am disabled and the adapted room worked pretty well for me although the toilet was too low for me and, it being the modern square toilet seat design, my seat to add height didn’t fit very well unfortunately. I would recommend asking questions of the hosts before booking if you have specific requirements eg bed height, room for wheelchair etc.

Excellent! Great little place to stay, I had the studio accommodation and it was very well stocked with fresh bread, milk, butter, jam, biscuits, chocolates, cakes and the kitchen was well stocked with stuff like the simple things like tinfoil which are extra things a lot of places don't do. Credit to the team here, the rooms are lovely, warm and well maintained. The extra touches with the food is a great idea and very welcome. People were very helpful on check in and the place was very quiet with a comfy bed and a hot shower. I would definitely use it again when I'm in the area.

Located on the A12 can be daunting trying to find the entrance to the farm first time. Giving their What3Words location would help, ///innovator.flotation.guardian Far enough away from the road that noise isn’t an issue. Very well presented accommodation with little touches that made it stand out from the rest

Beautifully decorated and extremely quiet we never heard any of the other guests. It was only the fact we were related to those guests that we knew they were there greeted by the owner and given it a guided tour really helped settle in.

A lovely studio apartment, fully equipped. Very comfy bed. Pretty place.
