great stay. welcomed by the owner with a big smile and a laugh. hotel clean and best bed i have ever slept in , in a hotel.free bottles of water and biscuits every day. the only draw back was stairs but honestly get past that and youll be more than happy.paid 61 pound a night in centre of Torquay in summer. cant beat that price unless you pay for it in type of hotel you get but this is 5star for the price. keep up rhe great work👍

The hotel is an absolute gem of a place. During my stay I became very ill and had to stay in hospital for 5 nights. Gateshead was in contact regularly to see if I was OK and very kindly brought my suitcase to the hospital. If your thinking of booking this hotel do not hesitate as you will not regret it ican assure you. Thanks again

Check in was smooth. The chap on reception was so incredibly helpful and his service provided was outstanding. Room nice , bathroom really new, nice and cool given the weather.

Great spacious room loved having access to the garden. Spotlessly clean. Our host was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. He also extended our parking time at the property which was very kind.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property. Only wish we had time to stay longer.

Lite trångt med parkering om man har stor bil, men man fick bra hjälp av personalen.

Excellent! Lovely owners they go out of their way for you. Very good breakfast, comfortable bed, location perfect for everything, boat trips busses, shops,restaurants etc. Stayed in double room with balcony/seaview a sun trap on the balcony which is very nice. We would recommend and not hesitate too come back 100%. Thank you for your great hospitality. 😁

Everything was truly lovely we enjoyed our stay.

It is well located and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. You're basically in the town centre and buses go to many nice places around the area.

Lovely warm welcome, very clean, easy walk restaurants and the port. Excellent breakfast.

nothing - but probably not the best hotel for people with physical disabilities, wheelchairs or prams. There are stairs to the property and due to the car park being full we had to park at the Premier Inn (a very short walk away) and paid for by the host.
