Hotel Hudson

Excellent balcony room (10), very clean and well equipped, could do with more water pressure in the en-suite shower. Very friendly and helpful staff, Outstanding breakfast with perfect attention to detail. Parking is available behind the local Premier Inn, (Permit from reception) Highly recommend this hotel if your travelling to Torquay.

Felt more like a B&B but welcoming. Only 1 key which meant we had to reorganise our time. Clean and comfortable no hot water in the sink but kettle and shower hot.

What a lovely find, great owners who couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely and a great location, ideal for walking to bars and restaurants as well as the harbour/ sea front & beach. Breakfast was pre-ordered and plentiful, with hot and cold options, pastries, yoghurt and fruit. We'll be back.

This hotel is located very close to central Torquay, just a couple of minutes walk. The approach to the entrance is up some quite steep steps, with palm trees. The proprietor met us and gave us keys to our room and both outer doors if we needed to be out late. He took our bag up to our room, which was very kind. We had a room at the front of the hotel, so we could see the sea over the buildings opposite which was good. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and traditionally decorated with fantastic curtains! Again when we checked out, the proprietor helped with our luggage. It is a quiet hotel, although on a busy road, and good value for money too.

Fantastic hosts wonderful breakfast and the hotel was spotless nothing to much trouble
