Villa Walton is an absolutely charming property. The gardens were lush with beautiful flowers, the vegetable patches, the greenhouse, the adorable sheep - Dixie and Trixie (I believe those are their names), the chicken and the dogs... The dining room with its jungle-inspired decor, the lounge with a baby grand and the corridor with old photos of the area and Glenn’s family... Glenn is the loveliest host and our thanks to him for making our short stay so delightful.

Excellent!! Would return and recommend to others. Stayed in the cottage and we both loved the outdoor bath surprise in the moonlight and starry night.
We booked the Cottage for 2 nights. The house is ample and everything felt luxurious and very good quality; from the kitchen elements to the toiletries. Everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was good and home made. Even the complimentary cookies were home made (and amazing, btw). We had also a small complimentary selection of liquors that were also very good and probably from a local producer. The location is isolated so expect absolute silence (Just birds, etc.) but also some flies and similar. We didn't see any mosquito. The only negative is that we didn't have more time to relax and enjoy what the villa had to offer (like the BBQ or the outdoor bath). I would certainly recommend the property.

The house is absolutely fantastic! It's very central - just 25 minutes drive to Hobbiton and 35 minutes to Hamilton Gardens. Mark and Glenn are the best hosts I have ever met! They made a very good breakfast and the home-made tart is a must-try!
Very nice place. The master of the house prepared us a delicious dinner and the breakfast was marvelous.
