A beautifully presented property, with many thoughtful touches and exceptional attention to details to maximise the comfort of your stay. The bed linen was luxurious, there were many lovely spaces to relax in and the garden is stunning!

Although the breakfast was wonderful, there was only one sitting at 9:30am around a shared table. While this worked fine for us, it might not suit all guests.

The garden and house are exceptionally beautiful. Lovingly restored and filled with gorgeous art and fantastic pieces of furniture. The bathroom overlooking the garden is by far the best hotel bathroom that I have ever encountered in my life. Brydon, our host, went out if his way to make our stay great and was very engaging and knowledgeable. He also made the most delicious breakfast in the charming kitchen.

A journey back in time with the benefit of contemporary conveniences and exceptional comfort. A lovely evening spent reading a book in front of an open fire both before and after dinner. Hein and Brian and gracious hosts

Most beautiful place I've ever visited. Family feeling, amazing, fresh breakfast and super service oriented. I'd recommend this place to everyone who wants to have an exceptional stay close to several hiking trails and in the middle of beautiful nature.

So stylish and elegantly designed with attention to every detail. Interesting objects and works of art everywhere and the garden was exceptional. It was a joy to spend time at the property. The host and staff were very attentive and responded to our requests very happily.

"the best stay ever"

One of the best properties we have ever stayed at (and we have travelled a lot). Have no words to explain how clean, cozy and beautiful the house is. Every detail goes unnoticed, the wonderful smell in the rooms, the gorgeous linen sheets, the Art Deco details. It feels very private and you get the house to yourself in a way. I had one of the best sleeps ever, I want to take the mattress and sheets back with me! Very calm and peaceful as well. And of course it goes without saying the interior design and art paradise…

only regret not booking an extra night !!
