"Overall pretty good"

8.0

The room was really nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, good shower, nice food, perfectly clean and warm. Free parking really helps. Really close to a graveyard if you like me are into cemeteries and like paying a visit to the deceased everywhere you go.

No breakfast on Sundays and noise you could clearly hear coming either from the other rooms or the pub downstairs. Location wise not too far from the Piece Hall but overall it is a bit in the middle of nowhere... Hangers for the towels in the bathroom would help.

we did not get to stay at the shear in as the owner said they didnโ€™t receive the booking confirmation and tried to blame it on booking.com so i would remove them off your website

"It was an adequate stay with some good and some bad things."

7.0

The bed was wonderful and very comfy, so i slept well. The service we received in the bar was excellent.

The bathroom was incredibly small and it was very difficult to manoeuvre about in. The walls between the rooms appeared paper thin, and we could hear quite a lot of noise from the other rooms. I'm sure it was the same for them as well.

"It was quirky and fun."

8.0

The welcoming was warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meal was very good value for money.

There was little to dislike.

"Good"

7.0

Restaurant + bar next door was lovely, great staff and good food, cozy and oldy worldy which we like..plenty of tea/coffee/milk in the room and clean. Not too far from the town. Price was really good.

Rooms are very small had to edge around the bed and mattress was not very comfortable. There is a really steep hill from the accommodation to the main road but on the 2nd day we found if you go to the left and around its a lot easier..

"Lovely pub!"

8.0

A real gem of an traditional and historic pub tucked away down a cobbled land between the mill and the Hebble stream. We were in Halifax for a few days and could not have picked a better spot. The pub is warm and welcoming with an open fire, the food is home cooked, delicious and plentiful, the rooms were simple, cosy and clean and there is a spacious car park. We were a little surprised by the snow but were well looked after by the staff. I would definitely stay there again!

"Passable"

5.0

An unusual tucked away inn next to a river in a very quiet location but just 15 minutes walk from the centre of Halifax. The staff were lovely.

The inn and the room were very quirky, the room was very 80's with a black bathroom which was in need of renovating. The room backed onto the bar and there was very little soundproofing so it was a very disturbed night.
