La Divina Amalfi Coast

A beautiful place, the pictures don’t do the hotel justice. It was stunning, but we are giving 4 stars due to the fact the AC was broken. During the hottest month of June, we were barely able to sleep at night because of how hot it was. The owner did not help with this and kept informing us that someone would come to fix it but never did. The front desk girl Marie was very kind and the breakfast was great. If the AC worked or was fixed during our stay it would be 5 stars.

It was amazing! The view, the hospitality, the convenience was by far one of the best we’ve enjoyed! The manager, Mary, was so accommodating and helpful. If we ever get back to Praiano we will DEFINITELY stay again,

we didn't have a car and were off season. there was supported to have things still opened but it was a ghost town. very hard to find food (had to eat panini/sandwich). not her fault

We stayed with La Divina for 6 nights while exploring the Amalfi Coast. Ivan an and Mary were excellent guides in suggesting restaurants, where to catch a bus, best way to get to destinations, etc. Very helpful when navigating the roads of Amalfi! Mary was a happy, gentle presence every morning serving us an excellent breakfast on our terrace with a view of the sea. La Divina recommended for those who want to stay away from the crowds.

We stayed in Suite Blu. Not only was the space squeaky clean and decorated meticulously, but it felt like waking up on a cruise ship — thanks to two big windows offering a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The private terrace made it difficult to leave the room. We wished our stay was longer so we could enjoy the delights of the neighboring towns AND more time lounging on the romantic terrace, where our sweet host RosMery set up the included breakfast daily. RosMery was attentive and responsive even before we arrived, providing info on nearby restaurants, helpful advice on local transportation options and even helped book a Positano Sunset Cruise for us. My husband and I have not one complaint about the property. We just wish we knew more about the proximity to Positano and Amalfi so we were better prepared for getting around. There is a great little bus to Positano with a stop just steps away from La Divina that takes about 25-30 minutes and is under 3€ each way. The larger SITA bus, also under 3€, is a great way to get TO La Divina from the Amalfi ferry port. Unfortunately, we were not aware of it upon arrival and spent 100€ on a private driver. We took the SITA back to Amalfi for our ferry departure, but because Praiano is one of the last stops heading to Amalfi, it was SRO when we boarded and more passengers got on as we continued. Next time we will ferry into Amalfi and use SITA to get TO La Divina, but ferry out of Positano so we can use the MAC bus FROM La Divina.

We enjoyed our time at La Davina and would recommend as a great place to stay in Praiano.
