The Cross Scythes

Fabulous hidden little gem. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The bar and restaurant was beautiful. Great decor. The food was absolutely amazing. Good quality, tasty and beautifully presented. The menu was all so tempting that I wish I had stayed longer to try more.

We didn't eat the breakfast as we chose to eat somewhere else. The options looked good though.

The service in the bar was a little bit slow but we assumed that this was just because it was a busy Saturday night.

Warm welcome by friendly staff who were on hand for a smooth check in. Shown to my room and shown where things were.

All the staff were very welcoming. Room was beautiful and very comfy bed. Able to accommodate all my allergy needs at breakfast.

Plumbing in room was noisy

The restaurant was wonderful although we did not have breakfast. We enjoyed dinner and drinks. It was warm and friendly and the room with the balcony was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better and would stay again. Thank you. Jeff & Helen Miller, California
