I am so glad I chose Giannavi for our stay. This place is truly a hidden gem tucked in the hills. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a peaceful postcard of olive groves and gentle landscapes. The drive was simple and the entrance was easy to find. There was ample parking. We were warmly greeted by every staff member. We only stayed one night, but I genuinely wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and were private. Everything we needed for comfort and rest. The quiet beauty of the area, combined with the kindness of the staff made it an experience to remember. I read in another review about a cooking class and requested it at booking. Thankfully it was available and at a very reasonable price. signed up for a cooking class and made part of our lunch. The food deserves its own review. This is truly a farm-to table experience. We were guided by Lorenzo, the owner's son and artisan sausage maker. He gave us an incredibly informative tour of the property. He introduced us to the rare Sicilian black pigs they raise--certified by the Slow Food organization for their traditional practices--and walked us through their farm's history and values. The cooking class was an absolute highlight. Under the guidance of a kind and talented Nonna, with Lorenzo translating, we learned to make fresh pasta, ravioli, a folded pasta pocket, and sausage meatballs; all from scratch, by sight, and the heart. As experienced home cooks, we still found it wonderfully enriching and fun. After cleaning up, we sat down for a four-course feast. We were served cheese from a neighboring farm, three variations of arancini (sausage, cheese, and a mix of both), and of course, the house-made sausage; which was out of this world. Bursting with flavor and so fresh, it redefined what sausage should taste like. Then, the pastas and meatball. We finished with dessert: fresh ricotta with local fruit jams.

Nothing. But to continue, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Just a note, the property is very large and well planned. there is plenty of room for running around, lounging, and just enjoying the countryside. There is a pool on the property for warmer weather.

Very practical, accommodative and unfazed host; good breakfast, value-for-money accommodation; excellent quiet location with lovely views, fairly good gravel paths to parking area if you're using heavy motorcycles; good choice for dinner; dinner outside in summer is a lovely experience.

Bathroom finish and fixtures bit long in the tooth. Replacement would immediately increase attractiveness of this place. Rooms could do with a bit of renovation. Yet as they are they are still perfectly usable.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, excellent food.

A few minor problems. Shower head was broken. Toilet flush was weak. Air conditioning /heating difficult to operate.

I wanted a place that was between my visits to Modica/ Ragusa and then Palazzo Acreide as part of my Val di Noto UNESCO World Heritage adventure in So East Sicily. This was a perfect place in between. No city noises, plenty of parking, wonderful staff, great breakfast, easy checkin, and clean/comfortable room.

The piece and tranquility of the nature. Amazing views. Food at the restaurant is perfect!

The rooms and pool need some simple maintenance, e.g. our AC wasn't working properly and we opened it to check the filter and it was very dirty, so after cleaning the filter it worked perfectly, or the toilet - it wasn't flushing properly, so it needs some updates.
