We found Angela and all her staff to be so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them , the room was spacious for two people overlooking a very private garden we were welcome to use We loved breakfast, so much variety and beautifully cooked, compliments to the chef, Parking was private and easy to get in and out of, and A great local hotel/ pub across the road for dinner A word for anyone wishing to buy presents for family or friends, the restaurant/ shop for checkin and breakfast has a wonderful array of beautiful goods on sale Many thanks to you all Angela Kindest regards Sandy and Ted( Melbourne, Australia)

Nothing at all.It was exceptional throughout .Weather was disappointing but apart from that Northumberland is beautiful.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. It was in a quiet location, with a garden. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Had a very good meal in the pub opposite after our arrival. We were able to have a cup of tea before heading round to the cafe for a fantastic breakfast, which sustained us both until the evening. Definitely would stay again.

Absolutely spot on. Our employee has asked to be put here every time we have work in the area now.

The breakfasts were exceptional (cinnamon French toast and omelette). The staff were friendly. I thought 'private bathroom' might mean it was across a hallway but it was en suite :) The pub across the road was also friendly and the food good.
