Super communication prior to arrival. Accommodating arrival and check-in. Immaculate garden space. Well proportioned room with thoughtful extras like coffee machine and mini fridge with milk. Splendid breakfast. All staff super friendly with brilliant service. Will definitely visit again.

We were travelling back to Tyneside after a visit to the Edinburgh Fringe and decided to break up our journey by stopping halfway. Pantile Lodge was conveniently located at the halfway point for us and gave us a very friendly welcome. Comfortable and spacious well-equipped room that includes a fridge that came in handy. Good sized shower. Breakfast served in attached cafe was great and better than many higher end hotels that we have stayed at in the past. Very friendly staff in the cafe that is also well stocked with local produce and arts and crafts. Good pub over the road serving meals and offering takeaway.

There was a little noise from the main road but was certainly not excessive and did not really impact on our very comfortable stay.

Stanza ampia e comoda, dotata di piccolo frigo e calorifero funzionante in bagno. Personale gentilissimo e colazione, servita nel caffè vicino, varia e gustosa.

Great staff; absolutely fantastic room. Breakfast next day was brilliant. Really good and would thoroughly recommend

Belle chambre pratique avec de petites attentions, petit déjeuner typique et très généreux ! Personnel très sympathique et arrangeant.

It was a large comfortable room, they left a great selection of snacks and drinks, and when I said I didn't drink cows milk they offered to leave some plant milk. Having the little fridge was great for cold drinks and some cheese I'd bought. Breakfast is in the cafe in front and was great value for money, it kept me full until the middle of the afternoon! The location on the main road was quiet and very convenient with off road parking. The Red Lion pub over the road is great for an evening drink/meal. I would happily stay again.

There was nothing I didn't like.
