Where do I start?? We stayed in a family house up the hill from the main lodge. It had 3 bedrooms and 6 beds which was perfect for our family. Situated about 10mins from La Fortuna in the jungle. We had a covered patio with hammocks. Meals aren’t included but we paid $7 each for a wonderful breakfast by William-the caretaker. There is a kitchen but we didn’t bring food with us to prepare. Don’t forget to take the jungle/waterfall hiking tour. It’s way more fun than I thought it was going to be plus the price includes breakfast. My kids absolutely loved it (ages 3-16).

Princesa de la Luna EcoLodge is wonderful place to stay and relax after long hours of hiking. Property is really huge, with amazing waterfall. The Host is very friendly, always happy to help. He owns cute animals, 3 dogs, one crazy and a cat. They will be very happy to go for walk with you. I am happy to recommend this place to everyone. Anna

Beautiful Lodge in the mountain, the property is rustic as we expected with views to the volcano, the staff is very friendly. I Highly recommend this Lodge if you want to experience the feel of the jungle ;)

Great views and amazing food. Very comfy hammocks. Nice little creek.

True eco-lodge experience. Do not expect anything luxurious. Very personal service from William. Will provide anything you need/request but will also respect your privacy. Meals were excellent.

William was a very generous host. The meals were amazing! The amenities were basic, but the property was amazing!

Incredibly welcoming staff, gorgeous property, great food. I enjoyed listening to the sounds of the jungle at night, accompanied by a friendly cat.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff at the property were very nice and good cooks too. We had trouble finding the place, the signs were confusing to enter the property. Also, the long dirt road to get to the property would have been much easier if we had rented an SUV instead of a car. They required us to use Whatsapp to know our location, which we don't have. The gentleman that was communicating with me before the trip, Esteban, does not live in Costa Rica, and kept referring me to the local manager, which was confusing to us why we couldn't just work with one person. All this was strange because most hotels do not need anything from you before you come. Besides this, our stay was nice and the hotel itself was nice.

A truly unique property! I would definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough about this place. This staff was incredible and the views were even better. Go on the 9am tour of the property which has 10 acres, a jungle, waterfalls, etc. Get breakfast and dinner because the food is incredible. I highly recommend having a car because you are in the jungle but you have easy access to amazing excursions which you can easily book through the place. 100% recommend!
