L’emplacement au bord de la plage

Aucune SÉCURITÉ : quelqu’un s’est introduit dans la chambre de mon fils et à volé les clés des portes avant et arrière de son bungalow. Aucun manager sur place n’a géré la situation. Tout simplement SCANDALEUX et TERRIFIANT. Les salles de bain sont dégoûtantes et vétustes. Le personnel ne parle pas un mot d’anglais. Il faut attendre au moins deux heures pour être servi le midi et le soir et une heure trente pour le petit-déjeuner. Les prix du restaurant sont beaucoup trop élevés pour Sumba. Si vous y séjournez, sachez qu’il n’y a rien à part l’hôtel.

Everything is well done and maintained with a quality above average especially for the price you pay (Sumba is generally expensive probably for the influence of NiHi)

The personnel speaks a very poor English which is ok in an Homestay but not in this kind of hotel. The only place to eat is the restaurant of the hotel, no other options around. This is ok if the menu would be available, unfortunately more than half of the items were not…. Moreover the preparation time is unreasonably slow for the number of guests, more than average long time we are used to in NTT.

What we really liked is the hospitality in this resort. Ben helped us a lot with looking for nice locations to go to. The food was also really good. The owner is Italian so the pasta is on point. The room was clean with an excellent working AC (pretty special when in Indonesia if you ask me). The shower pressure and temperature were also perfect. Thank you and we hope to see you again!

The beach view was too good. 😉

Emplacement magnifique Piscine agréable

- impression d’un hôtel pas tenu, pas très propre, serviettes tachées,… - personnel qui ne parle ni ne comprend L’anglais donc compliqué - chambre de mon fils qui sentait le moisi et pas nettoyée pendant 4 jours - lit très dur, serviettes pas changées alors qu’elles restaient très humides - la moitié des plats indisponibles pendant 4 jours car pas de fromage! Le reste pas très bon à part les pancakes le matin

Unwahrscheinlich schöne und ruhige Lage mit einem Traumstrand. Sehr nettes Personal.

Personnel très gentil et resort idéalement placé sur une belle plage. Beaucoup d’infrastructures extérieures comme les 3 piscines mais qui manquent clairement d’entretien Chambre spacieuse et propre. Les sanitaires sont propres mais vieillissants

La cuisine est bonne mais excessivement cher même pour Sumba. On peut comprendre que les pâtes fraîches excellentes soient un peu plus chères que la cuisine indonésienne mais celle-ci est trop cher à la carte… le nasi goreng est 2 à 3 x plus cher qu’ailleurs ☹️ La piscine est un peu trop verte et en sortant de l’eau mon maillot et ma barbe l’était aussi 😕

Het personeel was super vriendelijk. De plek is gaaf. Het eten is lekker, vooral de zelfgemaakte pasta’s.

Het hotel heeft de potentie om een 10 te zijn. De badkamer in onze bungalow was een beetje gedateerd en de zwembaden zouden een schoonmaakbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Verder zou het leuk zijn als er wat meer lounge/ligplekken zouden zijn op het strandgedeelte.

My father and I enjoyed very much our stay in Rua hotel. We had a clean and spacious room facing the beach. We could hear the sound of the waves at night. The mattress is very comfortable, there is hot water with good pressure, and the AC works perfectly, although we did not used at night since it is not needed. The hotel is in a quite area and has a nice swimming pool. The beach near by can be walked with low tide. The hotel is in a great location to explore the area around.
