Baan Khun ya Ayutthaya

We have stayed here several times in the past year and really enjoy it. Good location for station, buses, tuk tuks, eating and very nice and helpful staff. Simple rooms but everything is cosy and friendly.

Sleeping in a original Thai Home! Amazing!! The Cats and the friendly Thai Grandpa and Son. I walked the whole historic sites, it’s fun but start early !

- Thai Homes are noisy because thin walls and wooden planks as floor. I sleept with my earplugs fine.

Quiet atmosphere.

Owner repeayedly tryinh to upsell things. No cleaning during 3 night stay.

Super comfortable stay. Very peaceful. I recommend!

Very nice little hotel and very clean. The bathroom was the 1st one that didn’t flood every time a shower was taken. Good wifi. Fridge, kettle and coffee in the room. Has got aircon and the location is very handy to the train station, there are stairs up and down under the bridge on the side going into town (don’t listen to the tuk tuk drivers telling you can’t cross it).

The fridge only comes on when you are in the room as you need the key to power it and no way of leaving the card behind when you are away. No bedside lamp. The pillows are absolutely terrible (super huge and chunky)!!! The terrasse is a communal terrace. To check in you have to go to the hotel around the corner, it is the same owner.

It is a good place to stay with family.

I did not like the steep wooden staircase 45 degree gradient which could cause an accident for aged persons. There is none to help you from property to help you. The owner always insists the boarder to push sell sightseeing packages before check in the rooms.

The host was warm and welcoming, and helped us get the most out of the destination and recommended a great local restaurant. Spacious room with a large, comfortable bed and everything we needed for our stay.
