Baan Khun ya Ayutthaya

We have stayed here several times and it is our preferred place in Ayutthaya. Close to train station, and walking distance to bus station,, River, restaurants and shops. Nice Ayutthaya style building, mostly wooden . Very good value. We will return .

We spent one night in a 3 beds bedroom. Willy was extremely helpful by suggesting us all best places in town and the smartest way to visit the temples. I forgot my headphones there, and he shipped them to my next hostel right away. Kind, honest, helpful and one of a kind. And the place is very nice and confy too.

Very well situated for bus station, river, commercial city centre. Short Baht 100 tuk tuk from train station. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff are very helpful.and friendly. It is a very beautiful traditional wooden property. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here in 4 months.

Water in the shower was not really warm nor easy to adjust. Rooms are not very soundproof.

I got there early, put my luggage down and went out. The wife had told me to go to the front for bike rentals and bus tickets, but I didn’t understand that supposedly that’s where the owner owns another hotel. When I came back after 2pm and rang the bell for service, I got yelled at for not going to the other hotel to check in. After being yelled at, I was upsold bus tickets, motorbike rentals, bike rentals, and told that if I’m traveling to another city I would need to buy a bus ticket now to secure my spot. Definitely turned me off from the get go. Furthermore the bed is stiff as concrete and the pillows are super uncomfortable. There were only two outlets in the room, in areas that didn’t work very well. I had to bring a drying rack over to set the kettle on because the cord was too short to reach the mini fridge. Water pressure was not good, but I did like the instant water heater. Also be aware of the pack of wild neighborhood dogs that like to bark and howl all night. Don’t recommend staying here

The hotel is very nice and clean. The location is ferfect: from Ayuttaya train station, you can take the boat to cross the river , and walk to the hotel. The price is very affordable : great value for traveller looking for cheap and clean hotel in Ayuttaya.

Very polite and helpful staff. You can rent a bike/motorbike, take a short boat trip or buy a bus ticket right there.

The wooden floor makes a lot of noise. Also there is very poor sound insulation. If you're ok with that I do recommend to stay.
