Bulan Bali Homestay

Location was central, so easy to get to anywhere. For yoga enthusiasts, it’s the perfect place because you’re next to Yoga Barn. Room was cleaned daily which was great! The staff was very accommodating and they made sure we had all we need. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend and come back again! Very clean and spacious.

We wished the room has a fridge. There were days where we kept milk and other dairy products and we found out the shared fridge was off. We weren’t sure how long it was out for so we had to throw away our dairy products just to be safe.

Very clean and quiet room with desk and lamp. Great aircon, hot shower, kettle, and hair dryer in the room. Fantastic wifi (Netflix and video calls okay). I liked the location as it was so close to Yoga Barn. Nice view from upstairs room balcony. Good value as I paid 210INR per night. Everyone was friendly.

No top sheet on bed just unwashed cover. Pillows were so big I couldn’t use them. No fridge in room. No walls dividing the balconies of each room. it is just 5 rooms at the back of the family compound - it’s not a homestay in that you don’t interact with the family. no one spoke English.

Such beautiful staff, they take such great care in the property and so helpful whenever you need them - is a great location to Yoga Barn and about 15min walk to main parts of Ubud We loved our stay!

Really cool property with beautiful woodwork. Nice family. Great price for having laundry done. Koi ponds and many shrines on the property are beautiful.

Our friends had to leave when their air conditioner broke so we couldn't stay together.

The location is nice, a few minutes walking to the centre of Ubud. The room is spacious and the staff lovely. Is in a kind of quiet location (comparing to other parts of Ubud) but you can still hear some motorbikes and sometimes some roosters.

The shower has hot water but it’s hard to regulate it. Also the shower wasn’t so good (pretty much just a few drops). The large double bed is actually two joined single beds which made our sleeping a bit uncomfortable. The insulation in the bedrooms is not good and you can hear easily the noise of the bedroom beside or above yours. There’s a very annoying dog in the property that barks the whole day for any small noise/movement and during the night as well.

So close to yoga barn, along a small side street, which meant it was whisper quiet. You couldn’t hear any road noise at all. Best value accommodation I’ve had in a long time.

I can’t think of anything, it was great! Don’t let the price put you off, it was worth more.

owners are very nice. they did try to fix problems in the room.

massive amount of ants…. it’s ubud so I understand few bugs and ants inside the room, but at my first night I saw bunch of ants coming from AC and heading ahead to shelves along the walls….. owner came to my room right away then spray them, bunch of dead ants on the floor, next day when I was out, they cleaned them so it was fine. on my 3rd night, many ants showed up from somewhere again and heading to bed and and so many ants spreading on the bed…..can’t take it anymore. Owener offered me other room and moved there but kinda traumatised so can’t sleep well and next day I cancel my 3weeks reservation here and moved to other place. I saw owner did their best but it was nightmare and horrible experience and had hard time to book with other place in last minutes. booking. com also didn’t help since owner had other room to offer.
