Great location, amazing spa area with one of the best saunas with an incredible view we’ve ever seen. Reception staff were most helpful, special thanks to Elkham who did his best to accommodate our requests and communicate effectively. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing view and rooms

Stunning hotel, situated in the iconic Flame Towers in Baku; a superb location. We were walking distance from Martyrs' Lane, the funicular to the Boulevard, and about a 10-minute taxi ride away from the Old City. Although we didn't get a sea view room, we had a panoramic view of the city. Plus, the elevator lobby did have a stunning view of the Caspian Sea, so we didn't really miss out. The rooms are ENORMOUS, with huge cupboards and lots and lots of storage space. I particularly loved that there were so many options for seating, with stools at the foot of both beds, a little chaise longue, and even a comfy swivel chair. The bathroom was very appointed, with a tub, roomy shower cubicle, a separate toilet cubicle, and his-and-hers sinks. The food is spectacular, but pricey. We ordered room service practically every day, and my credit card is suffering for it. We had an à la carte breakfast the first day at Bistro, and it was delightful. On our last day, after checkout, we had a high tea at Balcon Café which was an afternoon tea dream. There, we met Elmir, a lovely chap, who spoilt us thoroughly. All in all, the hotel is gorgeous with lovely service staff.

If you are planning to visit in the winter, and suffer from dry skin, take your own heavy duty moisturiser. Theirs didn't cut it for us, and by the time we checked out at theend of 10 days, I looked like a serpent (with scales). It is expensive, but one pays for quality after all.
