Casa dos Reis

We stayed in the two bedroom house which was very comfortable and well equipped for our ten night stay. On arrival we were greeted by Paula who explained all about the property, pool, bbq etc., She had prepared us a delicious mezza platter and bottle of wine , which was really appreciated after travelling . The views from the terrace and balcony were amazing and so peaceful…great to sit with a coffee or wine reading a good book or just taking in the view. Calheta beach is only 10 mins drive and has a range of restaurants overlooking the beach and marina and a well stocked supermarket. This was our first time at Casa dos Reis and hopefully won’t be our last !

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like part from maybe the pillows which were a bit lumpy but that’s a minor detail.

Host was there and left us a bottle of wine and a cold platter with crackers which was a lovely touch.

Not much, maybe a softer bed but that's a personal preference.

Really nice place to stay. There is pleanty of space for up to 6 people (we were 5 adults). The house is clean and well equipped. Excellent pool and outdoor area. Brilliant view over Calheta and the sea.

Small, but new and totally equipped apartment/studio with a terrace with a stunning view. Very clean. Quite and safe neighborhood. Also beach towels are available in the apartment. 7 min away from Calheta by a car. Free parking above the house. Pleasant surprise from the host Paula, when we arrived…thank you so much!

I won’t say I didn’t like it or it would put a bad review, but just for the record-the bathroom (with the toilet) has a glassy door. For couples that shouldn’t be an issue, but for some can take away some privacy.

10/10 would return, highly recommend, super welcoming gestures from the host as well. Also, mega quiet which is wonderful.

Fantastic place, super clean, cosy and well equipped with great location for exploration trips. We were greeted personally by the host lady who prepared a welcome plate with delicatessen. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the house and especially kids enjoyed the pool very much. Absolutely loved the place. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect

We had the best vacantion ever. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to details. The location is lovley, I highly recommend Casa dos Reis for a enjoyable stay. Paula is very nice and when we arrived she prepared for us a surprise.❤️
