"Wunderschöne Villa an der Meerenge von Messina"

Die Villa ist wirklich wunderschön und auch herrlich eingerichtet. Das Zimmer, das wir hatten war groß und bot eine schöne Sicht auf die Meerenge von Messina. Leider lag es an der von LKW und PKW stark befahrenen Straße (Fährverkehr vom Festland). Wer lärmempfindlich ist, sollte um ein Zimmer zum Garten bitten. Obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren, wurde uns ein reichhaltiges Frühstück geboten, das nichts vermissen liess. Das war ein ausgesprochen guter Service! Der Frühstücksraum in der Bel Etage ist ein absolutes Schmuckstück!

Wir waren an diesem Tag die einzigen Gäste. Trotzdem war für uns ein umwerfendes Frühstück parat. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Verwalter und ebenso das Personal. Wir kommen wieder!

An absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was beautiful. Huge with fantastic views of the ocean. The staff were wonderful. Very helpful and caring. There was a rooftop terrace which we used for a great pizza night with drinks which were obtained within walking distance. A spectacularly gorgeous room with old world charm and beautifully detailed. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

L'estetica e l'arredamento del luogo, veramente suggestivo e curato. Il letto era meraviglioso. Il balcone, la terrazza sul tetto, le varie sale.. veramente stupendo.

Purtoppo la mia stanza dava sulla strada, ho un sonno molto leggero e non ho dormito bene. Mi permetto di suggerire di fare trovare dei tappi per le orecchie per gli ospiti con il sonno leggero come il mio.

We had an incredible stay at this unique bed & breakfast in Messina. The house, once the home of Carlo Rodriguez, a pioneer in hydrofoil design, is full of character and history. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the atmosphere gives you a real sense of the building’s fascinating past. The location is fantastic — not far from the Regional Museum of Messina, where you can admire amazing works by Caravaggio and Antonello da Messina. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Perfect for anyone who appreciates history, art, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended!
