Vittoria - house of charme

A beautiful,old house overlooking the port with just a few bedrooms let and the rest is like a museum with fabulous reception rooms full,of antiques, a roof terrace and a garden. A bit of an Adams Family experience.

Our yellow room was spacious but there were no facilities to store clothes. No wardrobe, drawers or even a rail so everything had to stay in the cases on the floor. A lovely balcony overlooking the sea (and the busy road in front) was ruined by two large AC units pumping out hot air and a very noisy road between us and the sea. There were hairs on the floor which didn’t belong to us. And remained for our two day stay. Even the bottled water was chargeable. Breakfast was basic with machine coffee and friendly service. Location was a twenty minute walk out of the main areas.

Everything was excellent. Even though we were completely unable to estimate our arrival time, Giuseppe, the host, was extremely helpful.

This is a lovely B&B, but has limited support staff. Their English speaking staff is limited and so it is difficult to confirm even a simple request like reserving a taxi. Location is good and room is comfortable, although can be noisy until 10 pm as it is on a major city road.

The room was beautiful, we were upgraded to a suite and it was exceptional. The views fantastic. It faces a major street so the car noise is loud. Perfect location and the host very accommodating, as we were arriving early.

The hotel was absolutely lovely. We only stayed one night but I wish we had stayed more… The room was romantic and the rooftop terrace had a wonderful view of the harbor. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast, but everything else including the garden was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

A perfect Sicilian gem! My stay in Messina was made unforgettable thanks to this incredible hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me and my mum with a splending cup of coffee. The room was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and offered every comfort I could ask for. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking overlooking the sparkling waters of Messina port. Every single detail inside felt like I had gone back in time due to the resoration of the villa. This hotel is a true highlight of Messina, and I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. I'll be honest there's nothing about this hotel I dislike. However, an improvement that should be made is that a restaurant should be inside where your able to eat local sicilian food...

The location is stunning and the house is beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable and the Italian charm throughout the building is breathtaking! I really enjoyed my stay!

There is some road noise that can be quite loud at times, but not much the facility can do about that.
