Jim was a great host - very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was tasty and our dog was made very welcome.😁

"Not ideal for us"

Very friendly, and breakfast was quite nice. Bed was comfortable.

The room was quite small, and because it was in the eves, it meant the ceiling had very low points. Not good for someone who's 6'+ tall. It even made using the shower difficult. The pillows were very firm, so not at all comfortable for us. When we arrived, the heating was on and our room was lovely and warm. Unfortunately, when we returned at night, having been out for something to eat and a drink, the heating was off. It wasn't on in the morning either, which meant a very chilly bathroom! For the price it would have been nice to have the choice of us turning it up or down to suit our needs.

We liked the cute house and how pet friendly it was! The house was super close to the beach which made walking to the beach so convenient! The garden in the house was also very convenient for our dog. Jim was also very hospitable, will definitely recommend anyone to stay if you’re looking for a short getaway at Margate
