Hotel Casolia

This is a small family run hotel and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. Edgar and Ody were simply the best hosts you could ask for.

It is quaint, clean and has fabulous view from the roof garden.

Our stay was perfect and there is nothing negative about the property.

Edgar and his wife were the greatest hosts. Very thoughtful and did everything possible to make my stay at their little Hotel Casolia as pleasant as possible. Xela does get cold in the winter months and there is no heat in the building, but guests are provided with plenty of blankets so they can sleep comfortably. The location is about a kilometer from the center of town, but it is a nice walk with many cafes and small restaurants along the way. There is also a nice sunny sitting area on the roof with a great view of the volcanoes and hills surrounding Xela.

There was a lot of rubbish round, they had a terrace, but full of old things lying around.

Very friendly staff! You're living in their house but they make you feel comfortable. A couple furry friends too. A tranquil yet lively environment with family friends, Zoomba classes, pleasant music and general chatter. Very clean and nice aesthetics.

You can't easily come and go at any hour without disturbing them since they keep the door locked and secured. They are plenty nice and willing to do it! There's really nothing more than a room. The terrace isn't really for guest use and there's no other common area so not ideal for those spending considerable time there.
