Candlelight Inn Napa Valley

My stay at the Candlelight Inn was absolutely wonderful. This historic 11-room bed & breakfast has so much charm, and every moment felt welcoming and comfortable. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine at check-in, which set the tone for a relaxing Napa getaway. Inside, the living room was one of my favorite spots- fresh brownies and cookies by the cozy fireplace, with a big picture window looking out into nature. It felt like coming home after a long day out. The property itself is beautiful. The backyard is lined with giant redwoods, creating a peaceful, secluded atmosphere. Sitting by the pool with a glass of wine and complimentary cheese plate was the perfect way to unwind. Each morning, breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared- just the right start before a day of wine tasting and shopping around Napa Valley. Overall, Candlelight Inn is warm, homey, relaxing and everything you'd hope for in a Napa Valley B&B. I can't wait to come back!

Staff is great. Lovely room and breakfast was excellent. Greeted with glass of wine and cheese and fruit plate.

The staff is wonderful! “Sam [Inn Keeper] l” is a Godsend, she is simply great and very helpful! The food is excellent as well! The house is charming, but unfortunately the property was not cleaned well - particularly the carpets.

We loved the entire experience!

It is a beautiful property but they need to fix the plumbing and provide assistance for guests after hours. We stayed in the Garden Room 2 room, like $750 a night, the room had a moisture odor, the windows were all covered in condensation. On our last night, the jetted tub backed up into our bathroom completely flooding it almost 2 inches, came all the way into the carpeted room. We called the after hours number and they told us there is no help after hours. We told the innkeeper the next morning, she didn’t seem to care at all, asked us no questions or anything. When we arrived, Roto Rooter was on the property so it’s not like they didn’t know. The trim in the bathroom is all water damaged already. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The B&B looks beautiful on the outside and the gardens are nicely manicured.

We stayed in the Upper Champagne Room and it needs a lot of love. The carpet was dirty and stained from bleach spots, worn in areas. The handle in the shower fell off and it was difficult to get it back on. It needs updating.
