Although we enjoyed the unique rooftop access, we thought we had booked two bedrooms, but only one was unlocked. The couch accomodated, but a bed would have been nicer.

While this is an excellent property for the area, there are a number of minor things that might make your vacation less than ideal. First off, this is out of the way of everything and you will absolutely need a car to get there. Not an issue, but be aware. The gate to the complex has a bad personality and will rarely respond to the punched in codes. Sometimes even the remote control doesn't work. Not the owner's fault, but be aware. The windows are not sound-proof so you will hear the frogs all night long and the roosters when the frogs go to bed... Might be an issue for light sleepers. Also the air conditioning is extremely loud and it will most likely be impossible to keep it on overnight, as the only AC units are in the bedrooms. Lastly, and for this I fault the owner, the second bedroom is only unlocked on request - I find this to be a misleading advertisement, as the unit is advertised as 2 bedrooms. If you need 2 bedrooms make sure to ask for it. OK, now that all the negatives have been listed, let's see the positives: the apartment is very clean, the owner is responsive and unobtrusive. Parking is easy and big enough for 2 cars if needed. We didn't cook, but there are pots, pans and utensils, even coffee filters, which was nice. Make sure to never leave any food on the countertops otherwise you'll be visited by ants. Overall this is a very nice property and excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.

The apartment was nice and clean. It was closed to the beach and many great restaurants.

Excellent!!!! Would definitely stay again and again! Not sure how we were to exit at check out without the clicker, but it could have been my oversight. This host really knows how to prepare for guest! Well decorated and clean.

Fajardo is a great base camp. There are technically 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms but 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom can be locked off so this unit can then be rented to a smaller group of people. This unit sleeps a maximum of 4 people so if you want the 2 bedroom and 2-bathroom options then you need to book this for 4 people which does cost more. I travelled with 1 other person and myself but wanted 2 rooms so I paid for 4 people so that I could have 2 rooms. Two days before your booking you'll receive complete instructions to enter the apartment complex gate, where to park and where to find your key. I was never able to get the gate entrance code to work, but once inside the apartment is a beeper that will open the entrance gate. The exit gate code worked fine. I left some donuts out on the counter and within a day there were ants on it. I put the donuts in the frig and within a day the ants went back to ant town. There are towels as well as body wash so you don't need to bring your own. There is an AC in each bedroom which is just barely enough to keep the whole apartment comfortable, but it works. There is a ROKU on each TV so bring your login info. There is cooking and eating ware and even a drip coffee maker with filters for use as well as a few random spices. There seems to be low water pressure that would increase slightly at night so I think its a city wide low water pressure thing but the shower faucet is set to stream so you can take a good shower.

View from balcony & terrace are pretty. Dont like terrace dont have any decoration or setup to spent time over.

The room is on 4th floor (the top floor) on the building with a powerless noisy rusty tiny AC unit. Water leaking from the AC and the owner put a tower to soak the leaking water. The ants are all over the places (wall, floor, bed), there is no way to reach anyone to get any help. We stay two nights there. The first night AC down before 5AM, the second night had a power outrage from 11PM and there is no way to have any sleep or even stay inside of the room in such HOT room with no power at all. It was so helpless and it was totally a nightmare. I strongly suggest to remove this type of property off Expedia supplier list, it hurts Expedia reputation badly. I would demand the refund for those two night, please let me know how to process it or if there is any phone # that I can reach a person in Expedia.

It was hot in the entire unit, other than just a bedroom. Owner never cleaned the air conditioning filter and I wish I can upload the photo of how nasty and disgusting and looked. Overall apartment was okay, however it's really hot and uncomfortable throughout the entire unit other than the bedroom.
