Oceanfront Penthouse

Location, decor everything was perfect…

I thought it could have done with a few extra (or larger) towels - but that’s me bing petty

Bedrooms were fine but could not open the windows.

Bathroom and shower needed upgrading. Steep climb to get to the front door. No basic supplies available eg milk, breakfast tea, washing machine detergent.

Waking up in the morning and seeing the beautiful sunrise was amazing. Perfectly located. Ideal walking distance to Surfer's corner and St James

Finding the garage wasn't easy and the location not ideal. Once we were in for the weekend we left the car and just relied on our legs or the train. The pillows were a little stiff for our liking.

Location was perfect, amazing views to the ocean and penthouse had all amenities.

Poor communication from the host, I had to pay the Breakage deposit while at airport, despite asking him days prior to my arrival. I requested help with switching on of Gas Stove, instead of explaining to me he says, "It is a normal gas stove", meaning figure it out yourself. He assumed everyone knows the gas stove which at the time there was no matchstick in the kitchen. Beds are little old; they must consider changing them.

the location was superb right in front of the ocean...the fact that there is a train you can get to Capetown City was a bonus

i was disappointed to find that the place is a no braai facility, a new year eve without a braai was a turn off for my family

The location was very good, and the view was outstanding.

We did not feel welcomed. The usual thoughtful touches that we've experienced in similar accommodation were absent. There was only rooibos tea and coffee powder, and only two toilet rolls were provided for a five-night stay! Only one set of keys was provided, which was inconvenient since my daughter and I went off in different directions most days. We saw no host or staff until we were leaving the building on the last day, and the host did not respond to all messages.
