Lovely building, well kept garden, tasty food on the stoep. Huge bedroom. Good pool.

Bathroom decor a little uninspiring/dated. Busy main road so some traffic noise but relatively far away.

"Beautiful old farmhouse with porch"

Beautiful old farm house, staff very friendly, beautiful room. They had a basic breakfast ready at 05:00 already for cyclists.

Room 1 is next to Reception and a because of a window between the room and reception, one can actually hear everything going on in Reception. If you want a quiet room, ask not to be in Room 1.

"Quiet Ostrich Farm with great service"

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste kurz vor Weihnachten. Angestellte sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Dunklere Vorhänge wären schön gewesen, um ein wenig länger schlafen zu können.

Never got to stay at Bakenskraal, pressured met to stay at another guesthouse, not all that great. Asked for reason behind it, never got an answer. Saturday morning supposed to receive a pin for new location, never got it. New location ( mooi plaas) bit run down. Safe did not work TV 3 channels after tv and top box swaps. Personnel very friendly though.
