The Brewers Arms

Location very good. Food and in particular breakfast very good. Staff friendly and spacious bedroom.

Sleep disturbed by dog barking so had to close windows. Noise from quiz on Wednesday evening.

Excellent breakfast, good beer, good location,good staff.

Not sure it was worth the £100 I paid (£90 for a single room + £10 breakfast). Small room, No top sheet on the beds, Wonky toilet set, TV didn't work. Having said all this, the new landlords are trying hard, so I expect they will get these issues under control.

We received a friendly greeting upon arrival and that friendly atmosphere continued throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent - especially the shower. We ate at the hotel for both evenings during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our food. We were out too early for breakfast but Will very kindly offered us a packed picnic which was prepared and ready for when we left in the morning. The second morning we had a full english breakfast which was exceptional. Would we stay at this hotel again - most definitely, yes!!

When we got there after a 200 mile journey, we was told the bar was shut , the time was only , 22.20 , we just wanted a beer 🍺.

Greeted by very friendly helpful staff. Lovely peaceful location Very clean throughout Room was immaculate Had an evening meal during my stay and the food was fresh, tasty and served with a smile. I had to leave next morning at 05:30 so they prepared me a breakfast bag to take with me, really went above and beyond.
