"Overall a good stay but I don't believe I'll book again as there are better options"

The location was amazing not to far from kyoto station and very close to shichijo station which gives you Access to the center of Kyoto(kawaramachi) and a direct line to Osaka as well

There was no cleaning service which was not clearly mentioned or specified and not having a reception was a bit of a inconvenience as we needed to be there for receiving our luggage that we sent over from Tokyo with Yamato ta q bin

We really liked the traditional apartment. Beautiful bathroom with a bathtub. Friendly neighborhood, close to the city center. We recommend it!

Very dark house. Futons too thin. Extra towels for four day stay would have been appreciated. No staff on site. Communications unfriendly

"A fabulous traditional set up with modern facilities."

Close to the train station, good neighbourhood and eateries and convenience shops within walking distance.

Missed having a bigger fridge to keep our drinks cold-especially since we stayed during the hot and humid summer.

"It was an excellent place and we highly recommend it for everyone."

The location was perfect. Very accessible to both the Kyoto station and the local station. The one min walk to the laundromat was also a big bonus for us.

There was no real way to dry the clothes. We washed them and let them air dry, but after all day of hanging the clothes were still not dried. We ended up using the washer to wash the clothes and use the dryer at the laundromat to dry them in 20 mins.
