Briar Barn Inn

I usually love the Briar Barn Inn for solo, recuperative getaways. I did not enjoy it so much this time, as there apparently was a wedding party staying at the Inn that made constant loud noise in the hallway until finally quiet hours kicked in and I called the front desk. But they were up making noise again by around 7am. My room was on the second flood and nearly at the end of the hall, but it still did not keep me from hearing all of the noise--looks of loud walking/running in the hall, lots of loud talking (even quiet talking was completely audible--no noise barrier), and kids running around. Not the relaxing getaway that I had so looked forward to. If you're planning a quiet stay, I would call and be sure it's not overlapping with a wedding.

I can not give enough praise for this Inn and its entire staff. We were there for three nights for a wedding. This is hands down the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Every one was beyond friendly and accommodating . The property and rooms are stunning, each expertly crafted and decorated so beautifully. We will absolutely be back. Also I had the best facial by Lexa. Highly recommend treating yourself to a service at the Spa.

Have stayed in this property a couple of times for business. Lovely rooms featuring a gas fireplace and a very nice soaking tub. Great on-site restaurant is a definite bonus. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location for exploring the North Shore. I’ll be back.

My annual solo staycation has been spent at Briar Barn Inn for the past 4 years and it always bring me the most cheerful holiday vibes. The Grove restaurant is delicious, the rooms are cozy, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is wonderful!

I have been at the Briar Barn Inn three other times and this time I brought my mom and sister (who is from Florida) for their first time! I was so excited to share with them this beautiful place. It did not disappoint. In fact, it was way above my expectations! Taylor and Jordan went out of their way to make our stay the 5 Star experience the Inn is known for. The Christmas decorations and trees throughout the Inn made us feel like we were in a Hallmark Movie. Which for us was a Dream come true. It was elegantly and thoughtfully decorated. The staff were supportive and kind. If I could give them all a Raise $$ I would say they deserve it, putting up with our antics! So many belly-laughs and new memories made at our little family reunion. We are coming back in the Spring with our sister in laws!

We love the Briar Barn Inn and have stayed there in every season. The rooms are clean and comfortable and offer a calm setting, with unique pieces of furniture and interesting artwork from the owner's collections. The soaking tub, bath salts and robes are a nice touch after a swim in the pool or a cold day out on the town. The staff are absolutely the friendliest bunch of people you'll encounter. We especially appreciate Kathleen's kindness, Billy-Sue's hospitality and Jordan's helpfulness. The inn is in a great location for visiting family on the North Shore and the Grove restaurant is a convenient place to enjoy dinner after arriving. We loved visiting at the holiday season, with beautiful decorations, Christmas trees in every nook and lovely departing gifts at check-out!
