Agriturismo Santa Cristina

We absolutely loved the location, the warmth of the staff and the pool is absolutely astonishing. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation, this is the place for you. There are many nice restaurants nearby and the village is also close. The agritur is in the middle of a olive tree field, absolutely amazing enviroment. Would absolutely love to go back to Elisa's agritur!

The only thing that we didn't love was the bed, which was too soft and not very comfortable. But that was such a small thing that it didn't impact the beauty of our stay :)

The owners were particularly helpful. We asked to move apartment to one with a better view and they did all they could to make that happen. (About three nights in). The property itself is really quiet and has been tastefully/cleverly split into twelve apartments. The pool is really quite big and is new this season (2022). It is 2m deep in the deep end. The childrens pool next to it is 60cm deep throughout. There are a lot of loungers but most people were out visiting the area for most of the day. An easy drive (20mins) to San Gimignano, Volterra is a bit further. Nice little Carrefour Express in Gambassi Terme, otherwise go to the Coop in SanG or the Lidl in Poggibonsi if wanting a drive! Olive oil and wine available to buy in the office btw.

Our first apartment also didn’t have the terracotta ceilings that say “Tuscany” to us. The owners have just taken over this Agriturismo this year - the gardens have taken a bit of a back seat so far. The hedges need work as do some of the paths - which are uneven in places. Not big problems as you can tell!
