Similan Hotel

Very comfortable stay. Great hotel. The breakfast is super worth it. Friendly host. I can recommend this place. Also try out the restaurant Pooh and friends nearby.

Location - it's a bit far from everything, so make sure you have a plan for mobility. It's not fully quiet at night, there is a mosque closeby and you can hear a motorcycle passing by on the street. Fortunately, there are not that many as this is a side street. Also, it would have been great if the host enforced the smoking ban on the hotel terrace. But overall, it's definitely worth staying here.

Loved how clean the whole place was, pascal made sure the place was spotless everyday. Pascal was super helpful and dropped us off in the local village area, where we could rent motorbikes and picked us up. Have made it very homely and the room was very spacious. The road in the day is super quiet.

There is a club not too far away that plays awful music with a big bass which drones in the background. It’s not the worst if you are a heavy sleeper/have ear plugs.

I had to move from other hotel to Similan hotel and could not get a taxi, Pascal was so kind to pick me up for free. Similan hotel is well maintained, looks freshly painted, perfectly clean, cozy, located close to several places for eating out. Pascal, the hotel manager, is devoted to make her guests enjoy their stay and is very kind and helpful whenever I needed something, like: she ironed my silk dress for free, when I requested to give me the iron, refusing to take money, recommended Butterfly cafe nearby which has cooks tasty Thai food at reasonable prices, showed the way to the beach, recommended the Supermarket with good choice of food I needed, provided the beach towel and umbrella for free use. A separate gratitude for the breakfast she offers: freshly morning baked croissants with yummy mango jam, big plate of assorted fruits, a choice of fried eggs or omelette or hot sandwiches or panckes which your may agree with her to prepare for you in advance. Though breakfast is not included in the room charge, but it is so tasty (that I tend to eat more than you need to) and substantial that I could survive not being hungry till dinner time - so absolutely worth the price you pay. I felt safe and comfortable staying at this hotel and would stay here again. I am a sound sleeper, so was ok with cocks crying or other noises coming from outside. Good value for the money.

The most pleasant stay I have ever had in my life! :) The room was really very clean and nice. Wi-Fi was also great. Hostes Pascal was so responsive and helpful! She have cooked delicious croissants on breakfasts and prepearing coffee for us every morning ☺️. She gave us a lot of useful advises and more. I strongly recommend this apartment to spend a holiday on Phuket :)
