Jan was awesome and so attentive. He went out of his way to make us feel special chocolates by the bed each evening, clean towels, flowers on the pillow. He advised us on the best restaurants.. He was an absolute angel. Not many people go out of their way as he did. We will definitely be back again

This property is an oasis in the city, walking distance to everything and Jan offers exceptional service. Our expectations were surpassed. You will not find anything better for the price. Furthermore, with Jan, you get personalized service.

It was exceptionally clean, and very near to all shops and restaurants. The Owner spoilt us with wonderful little touches. Jan went out of his way to Courier a watch we had left behind the same day we left. The accommodation had everything one would need.

TV. We would have liked the full DSTV or been able to project our phone onto the TV, but we used our account and watched on iPad so we were fine with that. Being older we don't go out at night.

Perfect location, short walk into town. Cottage is well equipped. Jan's attention to detail is second to none. Welcome bottle of local wine in the fridge. Ice provided on request. Jan pops in for a daily cleaning / Tidy up followed by an evening turn-down and added touches such as new cushions, throws, flowers on the pillow and local home-made chocolates. Full Guesthouse / Hotel service which was unexpected for an apartment. Pool area is amazing...Jan even kindly moved the sun lounger to the best sunny spot for me daily.

Nothing!!....usual Eskom last minute load shedding schedules are frustrating and out of his control but Jan makes every effort to alleviate this as the flat is supplied with rechargeable lamps and lightbulbs and a flask so that you can store boiling water before you go to bed to use in the morning. Wi-Fi works throughout on a back-up inverter. Jan sends you regular load shedding schedules so you're always aware. Quick Tip...don't forget to turn off lamps and TV before the power cuts as they'll come on again in the middle of the night...we learnt by our mistakes ;-)

It was just too small for us and the battery lights that came on during load shedding meant you got very little sleep.

Fabulous stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated with very tasteful modern furnishings. Jan is a super host and keeps the place spotless and provided lots of little treats throughout our stay. He lives next door which is very convenient especially if things go wrong, like my husband losing his wallet on the first day. The pool area is lovely and peaceful and we had a refreshing swim most days after visiting the wineries.

Amazing place. Jan the host was super attentive. Everything was pristine. Cottage serviced twice a day. Fresh fruit, water and chocolates provided daily. Bottle of wine on arrival. Pool and terrace area for private use was fabulous. Jan kept us updated on load shedding ie when and if the electricity would be off, and was always available for any questions or recommendations. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Can’t wait to return.
