Super Zimmer, Restaurant leider geschlossen wegen Betriebsferien. Ansprache persönlich, zuvorkommend.Fahrradgarage 200 m entfernt. Notwendig wegen historischer Gebäude. Insgesamt sehr weiterzuempfehlen.

Grosszügige Zimmer, mitten in der Altstadt. Nette Mitarbeitende, gutes Essen, Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber und Preis/Leistung stimmt.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in and we have no hesitation in recommending it. The staff are attentive service and accomodating, the complimentary breakfast is extensive. We tried the chateaux briand and it's as good as any we have ever had. WE WILL BE BACK!

We stayed one night at Waldshuter Hof, and found the hotel to be very well located. The service was very good, and particularly Nicholas was very caring, as our luggage was extensively delayed by our tour operator. The restaurant was closed for dinner, but breakfast was first class. The room was more than adequate, and well appointed. Overall, the hotel was very clean, and the staff very courteous and friendly. We’d stay here again.

Booked in to the hotel for three nights - enjoyed our stay so much that we overstayed by a night!!!! The room was clean and bright overlooking the main pedestrian area. A restaurant is attached with a special three course menu for residents. Service was prompt (as expected from German establishments) and the staff friendly. My wife has a need for a gluten- and lactose free diet and the staff went out of their way satisfy her requirements.The restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays but we found a good replacement in the 'Zur Alten Post' almost directly opposite. Those travelling by car can access the hotel via the street at the rear and garage parking is available on request in the private garage a couple of hundred metres away. Thank you to the staff and management for making for a wonderful first trip to the black forest, we will be back again!

Lovely comfortable friendly hotel in superb position with friendly welcome and service

This hotel is simply a very good bed and breakfast establishment. There is no lounge/bar area and there are no additional facilities. It is spotlessly clean and nicely warm. Breakfast is great and the restaurant does also open for lunch and evening meals although there are a good variety of cafes/bars in the town..

This is the best hotel in Waldshut. The fact that it is a small town should manage your expectations to finding nothing beyond a three-star property. Staff is very friendly and accommodating (they offered to drop my hotel bill in the room after correcting the billing address), but they lack the routine to cater to business travelers. This also becomes obvious by the lack of basic amenities: Internet does not work on the upper floors, so you can only work from the restaurant level. The lights did not work in the hallway in front of my room. The elevator does not reach all guest rooms, so you end up carrying your bags up a flight of stairs. While clean and well maintained, the hotel is in need of an upgrade. Some of the outdatedness might go as charming but old carpets and room furniture just give you a bad feeling. Breakfast was plentiful and cheap (5 Euros!). All in all a good experience: basic for a business traveler who just needs practicality; nice for the leisure visitor who will benefit from friendly service and a superb location, smack in the middle of this beautiful medieval town.
