This was such a lovely place to stay! Elizabeth and Richard were very welcoming hosts and the atmosphere was very homey. Elizabeth makes excellent pastries in the morning and I needed to request plastic baggies to save my leftovers.
From arriving to departing everything was perfect. Elizabeth and Richard were warm and welcoming. The entire place was immaculate. The breakfasts were incredible and you could sit and talk with the other guests as long as you wanted - there was no rushing.The bed was comfy. I will definitely go back - it was a wonderful experience! Elizabeth actually had a dress I left behind in the mail before I even knew I had left it. What service!
Our room came paired with it's own bathroom and shower. The check in process was simple, and the hosts were great. The property is quaint, and a unique experience. The place is also easy to find.

I normally don't write reviews, but staying at the Buckmaster Inn was such a great experience that I wanted to share it. Liz and Rich are such welcoming and accommodating hosts and we felt part of the family. Our room was charming and the house lovely. We hope to return someday.
The house was beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious and the host even accommodated my gluten sensitivity. The hospitality was amazing. Wonderful time!

My wife and I immensely enjoyed our stay at the Buckmaster Inn. The hosts, Elizabeth and Richard, operate a first-class bed and breakfast. They have restored their 200 plus year old farm house with exquisite care. They did all the work themselves. You can't help but remark how much time it must have taken. Unlike some older bread and breakfasts that are over crammed with their late relative's old furniture, the Buckmaster Inn is tastefully furnished with antique pieces in the stye of a more modern farmhouse. Each bedroom is cozily furnished and has its own bathroom. The Buckmaster Inn is the quintessential Vermont experience. My wife and I highly recommend it.
