Family Batcave Homestay

Amazing home stay a short walk or bike ride from the bat cave and temple. Lovely country side to go for an early morning walk or evening stroll. I chose the tent and it had electricity, a light and a fan. The bathroom and toilet was super clean! I had the chicken/basil and rice for supper and for breakfast, egg fried rice with a fried egg. It was delicious. There are other options also. I got up before sunset and the dogs joined me for a walk through the rice paddies. Bliss!

Great hosts, we got a wonderful tour of the area before we left. Loved our cabin, the hammock and the beautiful surroundings. Butterflies everywhere

Très bel endroit en dehors de Battanmbang proche du temple et des attractions connues de cette région. L’accueil de la famille est à souligner. Excellente cuisine au poivre de Kampot….

To be honest, I had an amazing stay here and truly got to experience authentic Cambodian 🇰🇭 lifestyle. I was lucky enough to witness a fantastic local party, where the people were incredibly hospitable and friendly. They even requested another party, so I ended up staying an extra day—it was unforgettable! The place is simple and no-frills, but the honesty, kindness, and warmth of the hosts and local people make it an incredibly authentic experience 🥰❤️

Simple accommodation, some of bungalows/tents/rooms don’t have air-conditioning but fans only, but when I was visiting in December it was not needed during the night, temperature was optimal. I didn’t even turn on the fan at night. During the day it was little bit hot but I was using hammock and I was out all of the day.

Leuke plek waar je het cambidjasnse Cambodjaanse landleven ervaart. Saro is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam! We hebben er elke dag heerlijk ontbeten en gegeten.

We werden wel heel vroeg gewekt door de keiharde muziek en gebeden uit de tempel, versterkt door speakers. Voordeel is wel dat je lekker vroeg op bent om het mooie ochtendlicht op de rijstvelden te bewonderen…
