Chakana Hotel Boutique

We stay here January 2019. This place apparently had just opened a couple of months earlier. The couple who own it are very nice and hospitable. Breakfast was awesome, eggs, fruit, bread, juice, yogurt, granola. There was no ac and the only complaint is the noise from cars, but I guess that is expected being right in the city, I recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The location was perfect, able to walk all over the city from the hotel. Wi-Fi was fast, so even though there wasn't a tv, but looks like they have plans for one, we were able to watch movies/shows on our laptop during downtime.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff of the hotel were really kind even when they had to move to another room. If you need something, they could make to happen. Would be ideal if they have finish all the rooms.

The noise from the street and the folks partying downstairs sort of dropped my opinion of this place from 5 to 3. If you can sleep with earplugs you might be good to go. Just a very continental breakfast nothing warm.

Outstanding service and customer service. Definately plan to return to this Hotel. Santiago, the morning front desk manager was especially helpful as he spoke good English and arranged for afternoon transportation for us to the airport and kept our luggage safe while we went sight seeing.

Unique, arty, and cozy. This small hotel has excellent beds and linens. Good showers and excellent breakfasts included in the room price make this our "go to " accommodation when we are in Quito. We found that this is a good walking city with many of the attractions of the old city within range. That said, it is a hilly place with an elevation around 9000 ft which takes some getting used to. There are lots of taxis and Uber is also here and the rates are LOW.

Great breakfast. Comfortable bed and linens. Easy access to the best parts of Quito. Some traffic noise during busy times. It's our go to place in Quito.

This hotel is great regardless of the price, and that fact that it is so cheap makes it even better! The rooms are very nice, breakfast is good, and the hospitality is fantastic.

The owner and enployees wilingness to help on traveling to ecuador made my stay really pleasant. The hotel is really beatifull.

Brand new hotel, very clean, comfortable artsy hotel. Close to many attractions, owners are very friendly and accommodating. I definitely suggest Chakana hotel and will stay there again!

A fantastic location in Quito’s core. We walked to all the churches, museums, stores, etc. Very clean hotel, with fantastic service. The breakfast meals were great also. We will be using this hotel again.
