The Vandees

From the moment we arrived (3 hours early) Noreen and JP were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They shared their knowledge generously, which we are so grateful for. It helped us to visit and see things that we probably wouldn't have otherwise thought of. The Vandees is a lovely house in a wonderful setting and is decorated uniquely in Noreen and JP's artisan style. Our room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable, it felt home from home. The breakfast was spot on every morning and certainly filled you up for the day. Our last night at The Vandees was our anniversary and Noreen very kindly gave us and two other guests a lift to the local town for dinner and then picked us up a few hours later, it was a lovely thing to do.

Wow! We had an exceptional time, JP & Noreen are excellent hosts, going above and beyond. Their accommodation is very unique, very, very comfortable, the most amazing bed, huge and so comfortable and luxurious, along with our room, so cozy and spacious, so peaceful with a gorgeous bathroom. We had an amazing breakfast, lovely selection of fresh fruit, freshly cooked fry done to perfection, Noreen’s own baked soda and bread was delicious! We had such a warm welcome, lovely wine and what a fantastic couple! They are so interesting, friendly and make you feel so welcome. Would 100% recommend, an absolute gem!

Truly exceptional! We loved everything about the property, especially the amazing hosts. This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. JP and Noreen were incredibly lovely and welcoming. Every facility and arrangement at the property was outstanding, with thoughtful personal touches throughout. We stayed here on New Year’s Eve and had a wonderful time celebrating with our hosts.

Beautiful B & B run by beautiful people. Nothing was too much trouble for Noreen & Jean-Paul, they provided fabulous hospitality & great food & Coffee. The bedroom was large, with a lovely hot shower. Bed was large & very comfortable. Direction instructions were detailed & we were able to find Vandees easily (even in the dark). Highly recommend Vandees

Great selection of tea’s but needs to provide more standard, ordinary tea (not Earl Grey).

It felt like we were staying with friends! Noreen went the extra mile to meet my complex dietary requirements. The house was fascinating architecturally, but spacious, quiet and very comfortable and warm. There was a small town nearby with plenty of places to eat and drink.

There was nothing we didn't like! The surrounding lanes were winding and narrow, but navigating using Google maps was fine.

from the minute we arrived we where greeted and treated like VIPs. Noreen & jean paul showed nothing but kindness and went well above and beyond to make our stay one to remember, such a beautiful home from home❤️

Lovely warm welcome and beautiful home. JP's tea and coffee making skills and Noreen's delicious breakfast provided the perfect b&b experience. We will happily return again.
