The environment was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

This was a very comfortable property with friendly staff and in a good location. It was a delight to discover Durbanville and the lodge gave great recommendations on places to eat. It was nice to have one's own private wing and to have decent heating, we found the weather cold! All round it was a very pleasant stay.

Very few places ever seem to provide more than one decent-sized bath towel, and we had difficulty drying ours given the cold weather. It would be great to be given two large bath sheets per person. I had forgotten to request a non-dairy milk and gluten-free products for breakfast, just assuming that these are pretty standard nowadays. So this did limit options. But it was not a train smash. The parking area is small and a little difficult to negotiate getting out - reversing being not my top game - fortunately I could rely on the skills of my co-driver!
