Hunters Rest Inn

The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Great food in the restaurant.

A really wonderful room which included a bedroom a sitting room and a bathroom the sitting room had a balcony which looked over to a lake lovely to sit and have a pre dinner drink in the evening or a coffe in the morning. The food was excellent both dinner and breakfast very good and value for money

Superb room & breakfast. Gentleman that served us at breakfast was very friendly.

Greeting on arrival by the chap behind the bar was poor. Get ignored initially then given key and gestured your room is that way. Felt like we were an inconvenience.

Staff and room and pub

The place felt warm and friendly when you walked in the door. The staff very friendly and polite. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was a good size and had an excellent view of the Mendip Hills.

The bedroom needed a few small details to be sorted before being re let. Could have problems driving up the narrow lanes when lorries needed to be accessing other buildings along the narrow lanes at the same time.
