Sonder at 1500 Canal

The overall experience was nice but there were a few challenges. The photos of the rooms shows them fully furnished but in ours, it was like the room was just put together: there were only furniture items such as the bed and couches. There were no side tables, there was no artwork, and other than the bedroom no lamps; we could turn on bright ceiling lights or sit in the dark. Additionally, despite the no smoking rules, people on our floor were people smoking pot in the hallways which made it into the entire floor. The lack of on-site staff and windows that couldn’t be opened made it a huge annoyance. For the price, it was worth it. Otherwise, it would get a much lower rating.

The apartment space was very spacious. The only major complaint was that there wasn't any cable TV or streaming available.

Very nice place, comfortable, large, clean, modern. Have all the amenities needed, including dishwasher and washer/dryer. Really great for the family. Will stay again.

Clean, quiet, comfortable.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of New Orleans. The bus picks you up in front of the entrance and so does the street car. It's close to major attractions and restaurants. The apartments are very large and clean. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to stay there again in January when I return to New Orleans.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, very clean apart from 1 pillow that had a nasty stain on it,but was very spacious great location walking distance to everything, round the corner from the bus stop 202 which takes you to and from the airport 0 i would stay here again. Minor issue to watch tv you have to connect your phone and watch the apps from your phone for example netflix youtube i would of like the option to watch basic cable tv instead of constantly taking my phone out to connect to the tv . Some buttons on the remote didn't work so when it asked me if im still watching tv instead of just pressing ok on the remote i had to restart the app on my phone. Apart from that i would 0 recommend sonder apartments in new Orleans the app on my phone

The amount of space in the room was amazing. Fully equiped. The bed was sooo comfortable and the water pressure was perfect. Only managed to connect to the tv once during my trip. Wasn't able to connect again after that but wasn't there to watch tv anyway. Was very nice tonhave a washer and dryer too. Much appreciated. The only bad thing thing i coould think of is that is would be noce to have some kind of security person on the entrance to the building. The area arind the entrance is pretty dark and sometimes had some unsavoury looking people hanging around. I felt as though the hotel jung employees didn't even acknowledge you entering and leaving the property. The security code to enter the building was not needed because the door was always open to the lobby. This way i was appreciative that the elevator could only be activated using the security code. Would not deter me from booking this property again. Totally satisfied and wished i could have stayed longer. Great option if you are thinking of staying in the New Orleans area. Would recommend!!!

What a fabulous stay at Sonder! The apartment was spacious and well-stocked with everything we needed for our week in NOLA. We loved the location on Canal street that gave us easy access to everything we wanted to visit. A quick walk to the French Quarter and an easy streetcar/bus ride to Magazine Street, the WWII Museum, and City Park. Enjoyed having a kitchen in our apartment, plus a washer and dryer, and access to the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed dinner one evening. Inside the apartment sound carried loudly from the elevators and hallways, but it was otherwise peaceful and a delightful place to stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Hallway floors leading to rooms were damaged and so were some light fixtures other than it was a great place to stay.
