Kubu Sental Cottage

The site looks beautiful, the garden is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a house on poles. It looks very nice and our kids loved it. The inside is very basic, bed was moderately comfortable. Downside for me is that the bathroom was downstairs, so if you have to go to the toilet at night, you need to go outside. The resort is located op the top of a hill. Its a bit of a steep climb with your motorbike. You need to go downhill to go to a restaurant etc.

The staff were friendly and kind. Pool area and garden is lovely. Rooms are nice and kept clean. Overall we had a very relaxing stay. Hot showers, towels provided, soap and toilet roll. No kettle or fridge in rooms but they do have water re fill and drinks to buy. Breakfast pancakes were nice. And we had a nice lunch there too. Definitely recommend the night market for food. It's 9 min drive away from property and you can try lots of local meals for real cheap.

Steep stairs up to the rooms and a bit creaky. They do have 2 ground bungalows so maybe ask for them if you're not too good with stairs. You would likely need a scooter or taxis to get anywhere. It is up a steep hill. They do scooter rentals although we rented from a place near to where the ferry drops off.

quiet location

rickety wooden stairs and door wouldn't shut properly, kept scrapping the floor and jamming.

The staff were lovely and tried to assist us as much as they can. The pool was lovely and lots of seating around. The bedroom was a good size and had a balcony.

The property is a little bit far out for travellers so unless you can ride a bike probably not ideal. The bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are very steep! Being in the middle of no where there were quite a lot of animals making noises throughout the night which did disturb my sleep.

The pool is very good and the room is spacious and the staff always ready to help you

The burgers were amazing, it was such a good surprise to not have any burgers on the burgers 😋. People are really friendly, accommodation is amazing and an amazing place to stay.
