Best Western Plus New Barstow Inn & Suites

There was someone pacing ALL NIGHT in the room directly above me creating loud, disruptive noise that staff failed to effectively resolve, resulting in my WORST NIGHT EVER. The dog poop bag dispenser was completely empty while they seemingly welcome pets. The front electrical doors were not maintained and posed a hazard to guests. They nearly closed and then froze on me, having to be manually pried apart. The manager stonewalled me when I sought to complain to corporate. Consistent with so many hotel chains these days, the "breakfast" consists mostly of highly processed, reconstituted, "cardboard" medium that tries to pass as nutritious food. I will say, however, that the best part of my whole stay was the cheerful breakfast lady. However, I will NEVER stay at this location again and my experience has unfortunately cast a dark shadow on all things "Best Western". Good luck!

This is a great hotel in Barstow. Room are very clean and comfortable with plenty of bedding and towels. The front desk staff are great both at check in and check out. The breakfast staff, Aquila is awesome, she made sure we had everything we needed to make our breakfast enjoyable. We loved the "Bee" decorations she had put throughout the lobby. We were grateful that the hotel had such good sound proofing because we didn't hear the trains at all during both our stays. We like that the hotel recognized the Best Western Rewards members too - nice touch - we haven't seen that at any of the other Best Westerns we stay at.

Jacuzzi shut off switch looks unsafe. Definitely need to be looked at.

Comfortable and pleasant stay for our family trip. Good breakfast, and the kids especially loved the yogurt machine and waffle station. We would stay here again.
