Hotel 86 by Katipoglu

The room and the bathroom at the hotel are good. Linen and towels are good and clean. However, the reception staff are not helpful at all. Nobody could understand English and was also not really interested in having a ‘google translate’ conversation. One eventually gave me directions on the first day; I walked for 30 min with no luck. They would just shrug their shoulders and literally walk away. Just to find from store owners that tourist info has closed. The breakfast staff were friendly though and the breakfast is great.

Top location near shops, markets and restaurants. Very kind staff. Very good breakfast. Very clean.

Otelin konumu harika, oda temiz ve konforlu. Personele tüm yardımları için ayrıca teşekkürler. Yalnızca kahvaltı biraz zayıf. İzmir'de konaklamam gerekirse yeniden tercih edeceğim.

Perfect location

It was a wonderful hotel, perfectly located about 5-10min walk from nice restaurant by the sea and from the Old bazar and Hisar cami. The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. They helped me with early arrival, and to fix my suitcase locker that broke. The room was very nice and nicely decorated. The view from the breakfast/restaurant was fabulous. I will definitely come back and recommend the hotel.

Ich war 2 mal in diesem Hotel. Erstmal 2 Nächte , dann 3 Nächte übernachtet. Erste 2 Nächte war ich sehr enttäuscht wegen Badezimmer und Dusche, weil nicht gut funktionierte. Ich wollte nicht wieder übernachten. Aber hatte ich schon nächste Tagen 3 Nächte gebucht. Nach meine Kritik zum glück habe ich letzte 3 Nächte eine Zimmer mit gut funktionierende Badezimmer gehabt. ich war in diesem Hotel weil Kemeralti ganz nahe ist.

Ich war vor 20 Jahre schon in diesem Hotel. Badezimmer waren nicht gut. Aber Personal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dieses Jahr erfuhr ich Das Hotel renoviert ist, deswegen wollte ich wieder in dieses Hotel übernachten.in der nähe Kemeralti ist. Erst am Emfang fand ich Der man im Reception sehr distanziert und unfreundlich ist. Auch kellnerin im Restaurant nicht freundlich. Dann machte ich negativ Erfahrung im Badezimmer. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, weil ich genau mit gleiche Probleme in Badezimmer negativ überascht wurde wie vor 20 Jahre. Das war schrechlich!

Staff was very helpful and place was very charming as was the neighborhood. There is a great little coffee/wine cafe next door with great food as well.
