Restaurant staff less welcoming

I loved that it was in Chinatown and did have options for a good taco place on the roof, great coffee shop and a good Filipino brunch on the main floor. When you check in, they offer you a complimentary beverage (I had a Capri sun) and the hotel was extremely well kept and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They had a random door on our floor that said "nothing to see here" which cracked me up. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. You do have options for parking - there is free street parking (but parking in Portland is crazy to find at times so buckle up), there is a self-parking lot for $24/day with in-and-out privileges, and a $60/day valet service. Something to note: there is a large and vocal group of homeless people in Chinatown, and although that can be jarring at times because sudden loud noises, no one ever made me feel unsafe. I walked around without any problems alone to my car as a woman. The room came with coffee and tea. And when I entered the room, the local Portland jazz radio station was playing on the speaker - kinda cool!

The rooms are rather small. I had to upgrade to a King bed to get a room that had enough room for luggage and the two of us. The room we were in had a view of another building's hotel room, which was kind of funny and luckily vacant the whole time. I would've liked an iron in the room.

Location was in Chinatown, downtown. Easy walk to river front. Rooftop views were nice at night. Car park nearby. Staff were all lovely. Free drink and eco door cards.

I liked the location even tho Chinatown is a bit sketchy bc of all the homeless people, but that didn’t really bother me

I stayed there for 9 days but my room never got cleaned during those days, I thought they would clean it at least once or twice during my stay.

I really enjoyed staying at The Hoxton which was supposed to be just a one night stay but I loved the hotel and the area so much that I decided to extend it for one more day and the staff was so helpful and kind. The room was absolutely great value for the money even if it was the smallest room type in the hotel. It was a great stay.

The place was very clean and well maintained.

The room felt a little small for two people. There was very limited storage, and we struggled to find enough space for our luggage.
