What a fabulous spot! As a family of 5, we had more than enough room (family room, kitchen, balcony, 2 bedrooms & 2 baths)to spread out & really enjoy our stay!! BCL is beautiful & a true treasure, away from the hustle & tourist trap, aka Branson. Thank you for sharing your spot with us, we will be back!!
An excellent experience. We arrived tired and late with a horse trailer (empty). They had special parking for our trailer and great shuttle service. Security escorted us to our parking spot (with the trailer) and they were wonderful! The accommodations were fantastic! Although we were only scheduled for one night, we will be making this a vacation destination in the near future. Very impressed!
Beautiful setting and the weather was nice. Our room in the lodge was easy to get to and offered a beautiful view.
Friendly staff and beautiful property. Possibly the best golf in the Midwest. Only complaint is the last guests body wash and shampoo were still in the shower, made me wonder if the bathroom had even been cleaned at all.
So much to do, but so relaxing at the same time!
We booked our trip through hotels.com and were sold new rooms. We booked four rooms one of which had a fireplace and twin queen sized beds. We payed for rooms that were pictured in the Hotel.com site located in the Falls Lodge. We were sent to Valley view lodge which was old, small rooms and all the same with now fireplace. We payed extra for an upgrade for my wife and myself. We got the same small room as our kids. Big Cedar claimed they were sold out that weekend. Very dissatisfied and expect a follow up call to see what can be done.
We made a quick trip to Branson and decided to stay at Big Cedar. It is such a beautiful place! I wish we had a longer time to see everything but we will be back. Parking at Valley View Lodge was a bit tricky but it worked out ok.
We loved almost everything about our stay, including the details of the decor, the cleanliness, complementary snacks and drinks, friendly And helpful staff, activities, restaurants. We loved the 5K trail even in January! Such a beautiful place! If we had to say anything negative it would be limited, our only dislike would be that the lights in our cottage didn’t seem bright enough even when we had them turned up. It is expensive to stay, but worth every penny.
The entire property is so well thought out in addition to being beautiful (even in January). My husband and I spent everyday doing something on the property, there are so many choices and they change according to the season! The food was incredible! It was a very special 25th Anniversary (including the sweet card, cake and glasses that we found in our room to help celebrate). We can't wait to go back, we want to see the lodge in every season!
Our stay was cozy and fun! The place is beautiful in the dead of winter, cannot wait to visit in the spring or fall.
