Hanscom's Motel & Cottages

Clean, early check in was no problem, quiet.

Unfortunately there was no water pressure in the morning, but they attended to the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

The cottage was spacious and had everything that it should have: a great little kitchen, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. And it was nice to have a large parking space all to myself. I wish I could have stayed longer. I'm very glad that I chose Hanscom's for my quick visit to Bar Harbor.

It was a bit difficult to figure out how to get the TV to work :-)

The room was spacious and very clean. Check in and out was very convenient.

Shower would go from hot to cold and back to hot multiple times while showering. Showers were small.

This was our first time staying here and it was perfect! Clean, spacious, and great for unloading the car and walking our dogs! We will definitely be back next year!

Property is a little close to major traffic. Hot water for showers needs major maintenance. It’s time to change out two chairs for something comfortable. The staff was amazing. The outside seating areas were great (just had too much traffic noise.

Close to everything; stores and restaurants. It’s a cute cottage with all the amenities needed for our stay. Parking is guaranteed too. Will come back.

This is a great place to stay. It is close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and are decorated nicely, with a very cute retro mini fridge and microwave. I loved the wallpaper. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the shelves in the bathroom were an unexpected plus. Our only suggestion would be to add a shade on the bathroom window. It was very convenient to be able to park right outside of the room. The grounds are beautiful. We loved the outside sitting areas, the picnic table, thé grill, and the fire pit, even though we didn't have time to use them all. The entire property is exceptionally well organized. We highly recommend it.
