Hanscom's Motel & Cottages

You all have done a wonderful job turning a roadside cottage-style motel into a solid property. We appreciated the light-nature of the rooms and small touches including things like a fresh sponge, travel-size dish soap, as well as the obvious attenion to detail when it came to things like the retro refrigerator look, fluffy towels, etc. And, the outdoor grill / fire pit / corn hole etc area was great to spend some family time together. All in all, we really enjoyed your property.

Over the course of traveling on a 3-week road trip this was the most expensive property we stayed in. It's somewhat understandable given the proximity to Acadia, yet simultaneously a negative.

Charming decor, fresh, clean and comfortable. Nice kitchenette so we were able to cook our breakfasts and grill outside after our days out and about if we wanted on one of the convenient gas grills a very short walk from our front door. Nice fire pit and chairs for relaxing with a cocktail and maybe meet someone new if someone is around. Adjacent to a nice quiet road for a morning or evening walk if you like to do that. Short drive to the welcome center for Acadia too!

Very comfortable stay. Great location, right near shuttles into park.

We loved this property! The units were very clean and equipped well. Very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The huge outdoor patio had comfortable seating and a fire pit for guest to use. Also had another area for grilling with quality grills for guest use. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay there again if we travel that way.

We had a great stay! The cottage was beautiful with lots to do outside! Close to downtown and Acadia!

LOVELY SETTING! Loved the outside area which had picnic tables, chairs around a fire pit and also a gas pit. We took some walks around the neighborhood and down one street was a beautiful view of the water. We were with another couple and decided we would definitely come back here. The cottages were very clean and cute. Loved our stay!
